As part of our 9th Alumni Anniversary celebrations, the Henry Park Primary School Alumni Association will be launching a special fund to honour the memory of our well-loved teacher, the late Mrs Jenny Kow.
Mrs Kow was a very familiar face in Henry Park, having been with the school since its inception in 1977. She was a keen promoter of the arts to her students and had been working on setting up a pottery kiln in school shortly before she passed away.
In remembrance of her many contributions to the school over close to three decades, the Alumni is setting up a fund to support arts-related school programmes. The idea has won the support of the school and Mrs Kow's family including her daughter Ms Petrina Kow, an alumni member from the graduating class of 1988 and well-known local radio personality. Petrina says, 'We are happy that the Alumni would want to honour my mother and our family would be keen to contribute towards such a fund.'
Former students of Mrs Kow and other well-wishers who would like to contribute to the fund may do so in person on that day or send their cheques to the Alumni. Please make out your cheque to 'Henry Park Primary School Alumni Association' and write 'For the Jenny Kow Arts Fund' on the back of the cheque. Please send all cheques to the following address:
